You Will Still Be Able To Witness The Festival Of Lights At Science North This Year Because We Weren’t Stupid

Festival of Lights at Science North is always a big hit and raises a ton of cash for local charities. This year we are projected to have the place lit up on Novemebr 22nd at 6:30 p.m..

Its pretty cool that during a pandemic we can still have some great normalcy in our lives. This is particularly true since our Provincial Government has gone absolutely bonkers with the restrictions. Nonetheless we are ecstatic that we can still see the Christmas Lights this year at Science North.

This is a yearly event that happens on the shores of Ramsey Lake in Greater Sudbury. The Science North parking lot has been the home of these Christmas Lights for over 20 years now.

However, over the past 50 years it is estimated that the Sudbury Charities Foundation has raised over $1.7 million for underprivileged children in Greater Sudbury.

This year things are looking a little bleak due to COVID-19. For now though this festival of lights is certainly one outdoor activity you will want to knock off your to do list before Christmas.

Did we mention it was free? Did we also mention you can RSVP on Facebook right here?
