Spittin’ Chiclets RA AKA Rear Admiral Was In Sudbury, But Why?
The super popular Spittin’ Chiclets hockey podcast has mentioned Sudbury a few times in the recent years, however they have never travelled up here… until now.
During a podcast released this week one of the members of the Spittin’ Chiclets crew, Rear Admiral, mentioned he was in Sudbury recently.
R.A. as most who listen would know him, mentioned that he was going to see his first ever OHL game but didn’t say what team. In a later discussion he mentioned how he drove through Parry Sound which is the home of the Boston Bruins god Bobby Orr.
It isn’t every day that Sudbury has the honour to have a member of the chiclets team in the Nickel City. So what was he doing here? It would be remarkable if someone from tourism in Greater Sudbury had some foresight to get someone from the number one podcast in sports to visit Sudbury.
I guess we will have to wait and see, but hopefully it was a nice little meeting with the owner of the Wolves.
If you are unaware of the podcast you may be aware of the cult drink they developed called Pink Whitney. Yeah, that’s the drink that has been flying off the LCBO shelves since it was released in Ontario around the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
For those who are huge hockey fans you are probably well aware of Spittin’ Chiclets, they are a crew of 4 who discuss hockey and interview current and former hockey players.
The members of the Spittin’ Chiclets crew are RA (Rear Admiral), Mike Grinnell, Ryan Whitney and Paul ‘Biznasty’ Bissonnette.
Spittin’ Chiclets is also part of the Barstool Sports compilation. Barstool Sports is the leader in new media and it’s female CEO Erika Nardini is an absolute boss.
You can check out the episode where RA mentions his travels in Northern Ontario below.
