The Doug Ford Cheesecake video made its rounds again over the holiday season. If you can remember, back in the midst of the lockdown Doug Ford made a video of himself making cheesecake.
It can only be assumed he did this to try and lift the spirits of those who were following lockdown orders and staying home.
Now we can fast forward to the Christmas season. Doug Ford the Ontario Premier has once again shared his recipe for his famous cheesecake.
Given the timing of him sharing the recipe we can only assume once again it was done to lift the spirits of those celebrating the holidays alone or at home with loved ones.

In the video you can see Doug Ford is just happy and who wouldn’t be happy making cheesecake? Below is the recipe for his cheesecake which he posted in a video on twitter.
Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients
Whip Cream
3 packs of Dream Whip
1/2 cup of milk
Cheesecake Filling
3 packages cream cheese (8 ounces each) softened,
1 cup icing sugar
Crust
2 boxes graham cracker crumbs
1/2 brick of butter
1 cup sugar
Cherry Topping
2 cans of cherry pie filling
Directions
In a small bowl add dream whip and milk mix until peaks form. Set aside.
For filling put 3 bricks of cream cheese in microwave for 1 minute to soften.
In a pot combine crust ingredients. Preheat oven for 180 C or 350 F.
Beat cream cheese and icing sugar in with the whipped cream until smooth.
Place in fridge to cool.
Press crust onto the bottom and a third of the way up the sides of a 9 inch baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes
Remove from oven; cool for 15 minutes.
Add cheesecake filling onto crust including the cherry topping.
Chill cheesecake for several hours before serving.
