The 26th Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, isn’t holding back and is doing everything he can possibly do to get the message to Ontario. Earlier today the Premier released a video on his social media platforms that practically begs Ontarians to stay home.
The video shows a small group of people having dinner. There is what appears to be a mother, father and few siblings gathered around the dinner table having a good time.
The video doesn’t end there and abruptly cuts to the mother being wheeled into the hospital receiving oxygen. Once more it cuts to the father in a hospital bed being comforted by a nurse in full PPE.
The message of the video is clear, stay home, save lives.
Ford warns that even small gatherings can have dire consequences on loved ones and family members.
It is expected that Doug Ford will release details of Ontario’s fate early next week. This announcement may include plans by the Education Minister to cancel March Break.
Both Sudbury Mayor Brian Bigger and Ward 7 City Councillor Mike Jakubo, have called on Doug Ford to create a Northern Bubble.
