Coors Created a Super Bowl Ad That You Can Only Dream About – Here’s How To Watch It

Coors is locked out of advertising during the Super Bowl, so they plan to show you a commercial in your dreams instead. Literally, in your dreams.

The beer brand, in collaboration with with Dr. Deirdre Barrett, a leading psychologist and dream expert, has created a visual and audio experience that is meant to “shape and compel your subconscious mind.” To put it simply, Coors is using technology to put beer commercials in your dreams.

“Targeted Dream Incubation is a never-before-seen form of advertising,” says Marcelo Pascoa, vice president of marketing at Molson Coors, “Typically for big sports events, we see ads featuring over-the-top car chases, pyrotechnics, dramatic scenery and storylines, but with the Coors Big Game Dream, the dreamer is in the driver’s seat to create a chill, relaxing ad inspired by our visual and audio stimuli.”

What sounds far out, or maybe even freaky, also sounds like it works. “We saw the results come to life in the Dream Lab trial run when participants reported similar dream experiences including refreshing streams, mountains, waterfalls and even Coors itself.” said Dr. Barrett.

Coors’ creativity is due, in part, to the fact that Budweiser has exclusive advertising rights to the Superbowl. Interestingly enough, Bud is sitting this game out, choosing to donate its advertising dollars to Covid-19 vaccination efforts.

To take part in this unique experience, check out their website on Wednesday, February 3 to access the eight-hour stimulus soundscape that will allow the Coors’ ads to be planted within your mind. To prepare yourself or learn more, take a look at the  behind-the-scenes video above.
