Adanac Ski Hill Might Open Next Week & That Would Be Awesome If It Does

For some people it has been a long and dark winter in Greater Sudbury. That might be all about to change come next week, so get your ski goggles because Adanac Ski Hill is preparing to open to the public.

During a city council meeting earlier this week a city representative told council that the ski hill was slated to open up on Tuesday February 16th, 2021 with covid-19 restrictions in place. The director of Leisure Services for the city also told city council members that they expect the hill to be open for a total of 5 weeks.

In order to open Adanac ski hill the mountain will need sufficient amounts of man made snow and natural snow. The hill, which is equipped with snow makers, can start making snow once we have had a 24 hour period of -10 C.
